Easter Weekend

We had a great Easter Weekend!
Starting with Turner's Birthday party on Saturday full of Easter activities.
Then it was onto church Easter Sunday.
Here is Papa and Turner flowering the Cross on Easter Sunday. A tradition at our church. I can remember doing this every Easter growing up. Extra special now that Turner gets to do it at the same church that I grew up in.

Family pictures outside in the courtyard at our church. Beautiful flowers make great pictures!

Mommy and her special Easter present (since she was born Easter Saturday 2007)

Someone LOVES her Grandma and Papa!
Being a very good girl during the church service.
After church, we came home and had lunch outside at Turner's new table that G&P gave her for her birthday.

Since it was such a nice day out, we played for a little while before nap time (for all of us!)
I just love the static look in this picture!

She loves her slide!

Then it was off to G&P's for Easter dinner, with MORE outdoor playtime! She loves Papa's play house in the backyard.

Papa and Grandma found a Mickey Clubhouse table and chairs set for the house!
Turner was so excited to see Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Daisy on the table!

We had a great Easter weekend! Hope everyone did too!
(Sorry I am just now posting these!)

Look at the happy girl on the day of her birthday party!

Look at the beautiful cake and cupcakes that my mom made for the party.
Can you see a theme yet?

And didn't get a drop of dye anywhere. Under close supervision!

Let the hunt begin!

LOVE LOVE LOVE this picture! (thanks for sending it Brooke!)
Just love how both Turner and Bayn are picking up their eggs! Same style!

Here are some cute videos of Turner that we took the night before her birthday!

Look Who is TWO!!!!

We can hardly believe that our baby girl is TWO years old!
How in the world did that happen?
Happy Birthday, Turner! We love you!

How can you not love that Stinker face? Such a ham when we have the camera....but so shy when someone does!

I made cupcakes and took them to Turner's school. Everyone loved the cupcakes....except Turner. She was so excited that I was making them for her and for her birthday, but knowing my daughter, she is not a sweet treats fan. She would rather have the salty...crackers/pretzels. But glad I was able to share her birthday with her class. They all sang Happy Birthday to her! Made a very special part of the day.

Waiting on Daddy to get home so we could go out to dinner. Turner's two favorite things in the world are pancakes and waffles. So I knew we would end up at either IHOP or Waffle House. We let her pick. She decided it was Pancake Time! So off to IHOP we went!

Again with the Stinker smile! Waiting patiently for her pancakes. Her dinner consisted of most of my salad, pancakes and bacon...what an interesting combination.
See...camera shy when someone else wanted to take our picture. The family picture from her birthday. Had to get one. We will definitely get more at her party on Saturday.
Which I am very excited for.
Cute story for you and just shows how smart Turner is.
I took Turner to Walmart on Sunday to get some of her birthday presents. I figured she is young that she won't remember that we bought presents that she wouldn't remember them. I kept saying they were her birthday presents that you will get on your birthday (thinking her party). So last night on the way home from dinner, out of the blue she said, birthday presents....birthday toy. She remembered that she couldn't have the presents until her birthday...and she definitely knew it was her birthday. So we gave her one of them when we got home. Wish I had her memory sometimes!! Too smart for her own good!
We had a great day just the three of celebrating her birthday. Still can't believe how fast these first two years have gone. If I blink...she is going to be 13!

Happy Birthday, Baby Girl!
